Processing Time

All items are made and shipped from my small business. Most orders ship within 5–7 business days. Custom and personalized items may take the full processing window depending on order details and order volume.


Shipping Timeframes

Once your order ships, delivery times are estimated by the carrier and typically take 2–5 business days within the U.S. Delivery times may vary during peak seasons or due to carrier delays. Tracking information will be sent once your order ships.


Order Issues (Damage, Defects, or Incorrect Items)

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact me within 7 days of delivery so I can make it right.

Returns & Exchanges

Because many items are custom and made to order, the following policy applies:

Custom / Personalized Items

Custom and personalized items are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges due to their personalized nature. If there is a quality issue, defect, or error on my end, I will gladly offer a replacement or correction.

Non-Custom Items

Non-custom items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible:

  • Item must be unused, unworn, and in original condition
  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to an error on my end

How to Start a Return

To request a return (when eligible), please email hello@littleyellowbirdkc.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Item name
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if applicable)

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.


Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.


Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase as long as production has not started. Once an item is in production, cancellations may not be possible.
